At 8am on Tuesday, 24 March 2015 in the offices of A&L Goodbody, the APLI will be hosting a seminar entitled ‘The role of insurance in managing pension scheme risk’.
Jonathan Bull and Redvers Cunningham, Directors of the Occupational Pension Defence Union (OPDU), will talk about how insurance has come to play an increasingly important role in protecting occupational pension scheme trustees from personal liabilities, affording balance sheet protection to sponsoring employers and responding to regulatory investigations and proceedings. They will give examples of claims and show how the insurance cover provided by OPDU has developed to keep pace with the rapidly developing and emerging risks to which occupational pension scheme trustees and sponsoring employers are exposed.
This event will qualify for CPD points. A light breakfast will be served from 07.30am, with the seminar commencing at 8am sharp.
